This site aims to promote Championship Manager 97/98 and to get you playing it again! As let's face it, all the other Championship Manager series suck.

Well not really… however most fans would testify that if any title in the CM series was worth the wait, it would in most cases go to CM 97/98. Having been the last game in the series before the move to the new CM 3 engine, the game will always have a special place in CM player's hearts being probably the last 'old school' release in the series.

And the fact it was the most addictive and thus the most successful game in the CM 2 series provides good support of the argument.

Simple, this game remains very popular amongst fans of football manager games, and those fans need to a place to congregate and discuss Championship Manager 97/98.

We aim to make this site a great online portal where visitors are able to download regular updates for the game and discuss to their hearts content about anything to do with the CM 97/98 and the other titles in the series if they must!
